Yucca pupusas

The traditional specialty in pupusas is the revueltas, made of cheese, beans with cheese or pork rinds; in corn or rice dough. However, in the municipality of Nahuizalco, Sonsonate, the typical dish is the delicious pupusas made from yucca dough, accompanied by tanning and tomato sauce.
Although it is not a new product; therefore, it has always been consumed in the aforementioned municipality, it had never been marketed. It was until six years ago, when Doña Alba de Gutiérrez decided to bet on this undertaking. She included the dish in the menu of her business: Ne Tupal, which in Nahuat means "Ours".
